Mount Hope Leadership
1968 - It’s founders, Dal & Dorothy Walker founded Tawangmangu Bible School which has become The Mount Hope Foundation.
1974 - Dal Walker tragically died in a car accident, but Dorothy Walker courageously continued the work for another nine years till 1983.
1984 - Dal & Dorothy’s son-in-law and daughter, Sam & Carol Soukotta, took over the leadership of Mount Hope and still lead it today in 2024, 40 years of incredible ministry and leadership.
Mount Hope Oversight
World Outreach - Dal & Dorothy Walker were the first missionaries to Indonesia for World Outreach (WO). They joining WO sometime in the early/mid-1960’s. Dal, was a close friend of Len Jones (the founder of WO).
Sam & Carol Soukotta are some of World Outreach’s (WO) most respected and experienced missionaries. Indonesia is one of WO’s largest and most fruitful fields.
